Music Executives these days are flocking to upper Europe, hopping on planes in packs, all hoping to mine Next Big Things with the same fervor as crusty old pick-swingers flooded California, then Alaska. Among the latest findings is Teitur, who hails from Denmark. Teitur totters between just wanting to sing his quiet lonely ballads and aspiring for a more polished studio sound; a cross between 70's singer/songwriters and Coldplay. His debut album on Universal Records, Poetry & Aeroplanes, floats along like a mid-afternoon daydream, happy to be what it is but without the arrest of a deepsleepdream - not particularly memorable, but pretty and enjoyable during the listen.
